What is She Can?

She Can is Empowering Women in Leadership!

Up until 2019, women in the Northwest Territories were under-represented in elected positions at all levels of government. It is vital to have women at the table using their voice to make the decisions that shape our territory.

The She Can campaign strives to increase women’s representation in political leadership at all levels of government across the NWT.

VISION
Equal opportunity. Equal power. Equal representation.

MISSION
Create opportunities to amplify women’s voices in leadership roles.

The Women in Leadership Project is funded by the Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) and the Government of Canada.
